Rheumatologist

Anna Zezon, MD attended Barnard, where she majored in Middle Eastern and Asian Languages and Culture. She then went to Israel to attend the Sackler School of Medicine. Upon returning from Israel she began her residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she published two papers on the rheumatic manifestations of autoimmune thyroid disease. She then came to NYU Langone Medical Center, where she completed her Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine in June of 2013. She subsequently joined the internal medicine faculty group practice at NYU as an Instructor in the Division of Geriatrics. She started her rheumatology fellowship in July 2015 and focused her research on a geriatric cohort with systemic lupus erythematosus. She submitted an abstract to the American College of Rheumatology entitled “Safety of Hydroxychloroquine Withdrawal in Older Adults with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.” She joined HVA Medical Group in 2017 and strives, on a daily basis, to provide patients with excellent care for their rheumatic conditions.
