“As a hospitalist I will be leading the medical team throughout your hospital stay .I will be devising a treatment plan, educating patients regarding their medical condition, and coordinating with various consultants to ensure quality patient care. I will work in collaboration with your primary care provider upon discharge to ensure a smooth transition and continuation of your care.”
Dr. Pamnani received her MBBS from Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Pune, India, one of the finest colleges of western India. She then decided to come to the states for further education. She completed her combine Internal and Preventive Medicine Residency and was awarded full scholarship to pursue Advanced Professional Master of Public Health at the esteemed Yale University. She also was selected to rotate at National Institute of Health (NIH), Harvard Obesity Centre, Thomas Jefferson, Tully Lifestyle center, to name a few where she achieved various certification in Cancer prevention, Healthcare leadership, Obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, culinary medicine, tools that are immensely helpful as she delivers holistic primary care to her patients. With adulations throughout residency, Dr Pamnani feels that listening to your patients and catering to their needs, making them feel cared and giving quality care while devising the right diagnostic and treatment plan is utmost important for a hospitalist. She strongly believes that great communication skills in addition to sound clinical acumen are inevitable to a good hospitalist. She is a member of many professional societies, has been winner at American College of Physician’s (ACP) poster competitions more than once and was presented with ACP’s Young Scholar Award in 2018 for her research. Outside work, she is strong advocate of daily yoga and breathing exercises, loves spending time with her family, is a trained Indian classical dancer, and enjoys her time at the health club.
